C <br />Mashpee Zoning <br />Board of Appeals <br />Minutes <br />May 23, 2007 <br />TOWN OF MASHPEE <br />Zoning Board of Appeals <br />Minutes — Wednesday, May 23, 2007 <br />The Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals held a Public Hearing on Wednesday, May 23, <br />2007 at the Mashpee Town Hall. Board Members Robert Nelson, Zella Elizenberry, <br />Marshall Brem and Frederick Borgeson were present. Also present were alternate <br />members George Bolton and Martin Gordon. Board member Jonathan Furbush was <br />absent. Alternate Board members James Reiffarth and Eric Dublirer were also absent. <br />Mr. Nelson brought the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. <br />Christonher Newman: Requests a Special Permit from Section 174-45.4 of the Zoning <br />By-laws in order to build an accessory apartment on property located in an R-5 zoning <br />district at 126 South Sandwich Road (Map 21 Parcel 81) Mashpee, MA. <br />Sitting: Robert Nelson, Zella Elizenberry, Frederick Borgeson, Marshall Brem and <br />George Bolton. <br />• Christopher Newman represents himself at this hearing. He is seeking to build an <br />accessory apartment for his mother in law. The Board reviews the plans and finds the lot <br />to be almost two acres. There is plenty of parking and all setbacks can be met without <br />variance relief. The Board of Health has approved the plans as well as Conservation. <br />The Board wants the extra commercial vehicles to be removed. Applicant is working on <br />purchasing some commercial space to put them in. Frederick Borgeson makes a motion <br />to grant the special permit subject to the trucks being removed. Marshall Brem seconds <br />the motion. All agree. A roll call vote is taken. Frederick Borgeson votes yes. Marshall <br />Brem votes yes. Robert Nelson votes yes. Zella Elizenberry votes yes. George Bolton <br />votes yes. Special Permit is conditioned on plans from EAS Survey of Sandwich, MA, <br />dated April 26, 2007. <br />Ernie Vireilio: <br />Mr. Virgilio addresses the board regarding tearing down the old Liquor Warehouse. He <br />• informs the Board that the property is currently under the Talanian Realty Special Permit <br />and wanted to let the Board know on an informal basis that he wishes to retain the same <br />
