This property is located in an R-3 zoning district at 10
Pleasant Park Drive (Map 70 Parcel 169) Mashpee, MA.
Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General
Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, a
newspaper of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on November 30, 2007 and
December 7, 2007, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof.
A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on
December 12, 2007 at which time the following members of the Zoning Board of
Appeals were present and acting throughout: Zella Elizenberry, Robert Nelson, Jonathan
Furbush, James Reiffarth and George Bolton.
The Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals issues this Decision pursuant to the
provisions of Massachusetts General Law, Chapter 40A, Section 10 and the Town of
Mashpee Zoning By-laws.
Thomas Quinn represents himself at this hearing. As he has previously done in
this development is seeking to have 2 more parcels of land to be deemed buildable. He is
seeking 25 foot frontage and 17,500 square foot landspace variance to reach the code of
40,000 square feet to build a single family dwelling.which he has enveloped on the plot
plan. He needs no further variance for setback relief from any side and will conform to
all height requirements which shall be no more than 35 feet. Additionally, the lot
coverage will remain at no more than 20%. The Board reviews each of the plot plans and
feels these are exactly the same as he has requested in the past and they were pre-viously
existing.
10 Pleasant Street
Jonathan Furbush makes a motion to grant a 25 foot frontage variance for 10 pleasant
street and a 17,500 square foot landspace variance. Bob Nelson seconds the motion. All
