Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication) in The Mashpee Enterprise, a newspaper of general circulation on January 13, 2006 and January 20, 2006, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part in the Town of Mashpee, on hereof. A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on Wednesday, January 25, 2006 and continued until February 8, 2006, at which time the following members of the Zoning Board of Appeals were present and acting throughout: Robert Nelson, Zella Elizenberry, Frederick Borgeson, Marshall Brem and Jonathan Furbush. The Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals issues this Decision pursuant to the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 40A Section 10 and the Town of Mashpee Zoning By-laws. Wilfred Reed represented himself at the first hearing. He requested several variances in order to rebuild a dwelling and the property is on a corner lot. The Board felt the property needed to be cleaned up quite a bit and requested that he do that before they will entertain a motion for any variances. He appeared at the subsequent hearing on February 8, 2006 and accomplished everything the Board asked him to do. The area was cleaned up and dumpster was provided.
