Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, <br /> a newspaper of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on August 11, 2006 and <br /> August 18, 2006, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on <br /> Wednesday, August 23, 2006, at which time the following members of the Zoning Board <br /> of Appeals were present and acting throughout: Robert Nelson, Martini Gordon, Jonathan <br /> Furbush, Eric Dublirer and James Reiffarth. <br /> The Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals issues this Decision pursuant to the <br /> provisions of Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 40A Section 10 and the Town of <br /> Mashpee Zoning By-laws. <br /> Arthur Joia represents himself at this hearing. He is seeking a variance in order to <br /> build a garage and has the burden of maintaining two frontages since his lot is a corner <br /> lot. The Board reviews the plans and discusses a shed that is not shown on the plan. This <br /> needs to be moved 5 feet from the property line. They also request the horseshoe <br /> driveway be removed so there is only one driveway. Applicant mentions he may at some <br /> point want a bedroom above the garage but nothing is granted regarding that at this time. <br /> Jonathan Furbush makes a motion to grant the following: <br /> ✓ A 23 foot variance from Grendier Road <br /> ✓ A 22.3 foot variance in the rear <br /> ✓ A 3 foot variance on the southerly side of the deck <br />
