•
•
0
Zoning Board of Appeals
Minutes
October 24, 2006
Jobs & Whitings Neighborhoods — Mashpee Commons:
Decision on Comprehensive Permit ADDlicatlon:
The ZBA Board continued to review the draft Decision on the
Comprehensive Permit Application for the application which was received
by the Zoning Board of Appeals on December 1, 2005. The following
amendments were considered.
III. FINDINGS:
3. Additional Language: The Board finds that the project will essentially
create a new village center for the Town of Mashpee and will forever alter
the area surrounding the Property. While the Board is mindful that such
local concerns as traffic circulation will be affected. (The word: likely is
removed from the sentence) It was agreed the project if approved would
be a "pedestrian friendly" neighborhood.
5. HELD. Oversight of Construction. Wording to be revised; deemed a
work in progress matter. "Look -back" language is considered to maintain
accordance with the Master Plan.
6. HELD. Stormwater Management System. Additional specifications
would be added to this stipulation upon final review and approval of the
Town's Engineer. Charles Rowley, Project Engineer also recommended
to reference the stormwater management strategy in item #6 and/or in
Section IV.
