Mashpee Zoning' <br />Board of Appeals Minutes <br />1 November 8, 2006 <br />• TOWN OF MASHPEE <br />Zoning Board of Appeals <br />Minutes — Wednesday, November 8, 2006 <br />The Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals held a Public Hearing on Wednesday, November <br />S, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. at the Mashpee Town Hall. Board Members Robert Nelson, Zella <br />Elizenberry, Frederick Borgeson, and .lonathan Forbush were present along with alternate <br />members James Reiffarth, Eric Dublirer, and George Bolton. Martin Gordon was absent <br />and Marshall Brem were absent. <br />Mr. Nelson brought the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. <br />Zella Elizenberry read the continuances for tonight's hearing. <br />.loan and Frank Stasiowski: Requests a Variance from Section 174-31 of the Zoning <br />By-laws to seek relief from the setback requirements in order to build a garage on <br />property located in an R-3 zoning district at 22 Driftwood Circle (Map 125 Parcel 190) <br />Mashpee, MA. <br />• Sitting: Robert Nelson, Zella Elizenberry, Jonathan Furbush, Frederick Borgeson and <br />George Bolton. <br />John Daye of Hutker Architects represents the applicant at this hearing. They are <br />seeking a variance from the front yard setback to build a 24' x 36' garage. The dwelling <br />is in a cluster development and is similar in design to other abutting homes. The lot <br />coverage in a cluster subdivision is 30% and this proposal is 23.9%. The Board reviews <br />the plans and checks on the cluster subdivision rules. Frederick Borgeson makes a <br />motion to grant a 7.5 foot variance to Driftwood Circle. Jonathan Forbush seconds the <br />motion. All agree. So moved. A roll call vote is taken. Robert Nelson votes yes. Zella <br />Elizenberry votes yes. Jonathan Furbush votes yes. Frederick Borgeson votes yes. <br />George Bolton votes yes. Reference plans from the Cape & Islands Engineering, File <br />No. 153MA, dated September 25, 2006. <br />Other Business: <br />✓ Bob Nelson informs the Board that E. A Fish applied for financing for the project <br />on Asher's Path. <br />✓ Mr. Nelson mentions to the Board that there should be no more than 2 members at <br />• a site visit at one time. <br />
