LLC Map 120 Parcels 146 & 147 SP -05-06 A Petition was filed on December 8, 2004 for a Special Permit under Section 174- 25.1.9 of the Zoning By-laws to allow for construction of a pier, ramp and float in Great River on property located in an R-3 zoning district at 47 and 17 Waterline Drive (Map 120 Parcels 146&147) Mashpee, MA. Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, • a newspaper of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on December 31, 2004 and January 7, 2005 a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on Wednesday, February 2, 2005 at which time the following members of the Zoning Board of Appeals were present and acting throughout: Zella E. Elizenberry, Robert Nelson, James Regan, Frederick Borgeson and Evano Cunha. The Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals issues this Decision pursuant to the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 40A Section 9 and the Town of Mashpee Zoning By-laws. David Sanicki of Cape & Islands Engineering represents the applicant at this hearing. They are seeking a special permit to build a pier, ramp and float on Great River. Mr. Sanicki informs the Board that this property actually has a water VIEW and not a water FRONT that is why they need such a long pier for a walkway access. Gary Locarno, an abutter fully supports this project. Mr. Sanicki informs the Board that the Conservation Commission approved this as well as the Harbormaster and Shellfish. The • Board finds this requests to be acceptable and makes a motion to grant the Special Permit.
