Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise,
a newspaper of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee on April 29, 2005 and May 6,
2005, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof.
A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on
Wednesday, June 8, 2005, at which time the following members of the Zoning Board
of Appeals were present and acting throughout: Robert Nelson, Zella Elizenberry,
Jonathan Furbush, Evano Cunha and Eric Dublirer.
The Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals issues this Decision pursuant to the
provisions of Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 40A Section 10 and the Town of
Mashpee Zoning By-laws.
Steven Cook of Cotuit Bay Design represents the applicant at this continued hearing.
At the May 25"' hearing, they were asked to calculate the lot coverage for all of the
dwellings (ie sheds etc.) to be sure it did not exceed 20%. Mr. Cook shows that the total
lot coverage is 19.3% which is acceptable. The Board reviews the updated plans and
moves to grant the following:
✓ A 2.6 foot northerly sideyard variance
✓ A 26.31 frontage variance (150 feet is required)
✓ A 21,050 square foot landspace variance (80,000 square feet is required)
