Town of Mashpee <br /> 16 (Ireat ffeck goad,Xorth <br /> c 1 0 1-1649 <br /> A'Jash,pe , )/1 ssachusctts 02 <br /> MASHPEE ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS <br /> Decision for a Special Permit <br /> RE: Dennis and Sylvia Neighbors 27 Quaker Run Road <br /> Map 83 Parcel 9 <br /> SP-04-28 <br /> A Petition was filed on January 30, 2004 for a Special Permit under Section 174- <br /> 25.A.8 of the Zoning By-laws to legalize an existing accessory structure on property <br /> located in an R-3 zoning district at 27 Quaker Run Road (Map 83 Parcel 9) Mashpee, <br /> MA. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General <br /> Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, a <br /> newspaper of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, February 6, 2004, and <br /> February 13, 2004 a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on <br /> Wednesday, February 25, 2004 at which time the following members of the Zoning <br /> Board of Appeals were present and acting throughout: James Regan, Robert Nelson and <br /> Zella Elizenberry. <br /> The Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals issues this Decision pursuant to the <br /> provisions of Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 40A, Section 9 and the Town of <br /> Mashpee Zoning By-laws. <br /> Eric Lubrano represents the petitioners at this hearing. He informs the Board that <br /> upon commencing with some alterations on the house in questions,they came upon an <br /> accessory structure they would like to legalize and use as and apartment, thus the need for <br /> a special permit. Russ Wheeler would like an inspection done upon completion of the <br /> work. Board of Health has signed off on the apartment for septic approval. Mr. Nelson <br /> moves to grant a special Permit. Zella Elizenberry seconds the motion. <br />
