Mashpee Zoning <br /> Board of Appeals Minutes from Public Hearing on June 23, 2004 <br /> 5 <br /> Michael and Rebecca Robbins: Request a Special Permit from Section 174-17 of the <br /> Zoning By-laws to alter a pre-existing non-conforming structure in order to build a new <br /> addition on property located in an R-5 zoning district at 71 Main Street (Map 47 Parcel <br /> 23) Mashpee, MA. <br /> Sitting: James Regan, Robert Nelson and Richard Guerrera <br /> Michael Robbins represents himself at this hearing. They are seeking a special permit <br /> and a variance in order to alter a pre-existing non conforming structure to build an <br /> addition on the property. After reviewing the plans, the Board and Mr. Wheeler discuss <br /> the necessity of where the variance needs to go. They agree the lot is problematic with <br /> respect to where the main dwelling was placed. Robert Nelson moves to grant a 14.7 foot <br /> variance on the sideyard and a 12 foot variance in the front on Main Street and to grant <br /> the Special Permit. Richard Guerrera seconds the motion. All agree. So moved. <br /> Reference plans dated April 6, 2004 by John Doyle, as prepared for Michael Robbins. <br /> Other Business: <br /> ✓ Accept Minutes from June 9, 2004: Robert Nelson makes a motion to accept the <br /> minutes from May 26, 2004. Marshall Brem seconds the motion. All agree. So <br /> moved. <br /> ✓ Question on quorum: Lori Corsi informs the Board about the information from <br /> Don Schmidt regarding quorum and the questions they had. <br /> ✓ Letter to Southport for their newsletter: Robert Nelson reads the letter openly to <br /> the public regarding any interest anyone may have regarding becoming an <br /> alternate on the board. <br /> ✓ Mr. Nelson also informs the Board that everyone must pay great attention to who <br /> is sitting on hearings, who is voting and who is signing. <br /> ✓ Richard Guerrera makes a motion to go into Executive Session. Robert Nelson <br /> seconds the motion. All agree. <br /> Meeting is adjourned at 9:15 p.m. Motion is seconded. All agree.
