Mashpee Zoning <br /> Board of Appeals Minutes July 28, 2004 <br /> 1 <br /> • TOWN OF MASHPEE <br /> Zoning Board of Appeals <br /> Minutes - Wednesday, July 28, 2004 <br /> The Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals held Public Hearings on Wednesday, July 28, <br /> 2004 at 7:00 P.M. at the Mashpee Town Hall. Board Members James Regan, and Robert <br /> Nelson, Richard Guerrera and Marshall Brem were present. Zella Elizenberry and <br /> Frederick Borgeson were absent. <br /> Mr. Regan brought the meeting to order at 7:00 <br /> Mr. Nelson read the last minute continued matters. <br /> Willowbend Country Club: Request a Special Permit from Section 174.25.I.9 of the <br /> Zoning By-laws in order to build, license and maintain a pier, ramp and float on property <br /> located in an R-3 zoning district at 37 Shoestring Bay Road (Map 84 Parcel 25) Mashpee, <br /> MA. <br /> Mr. Nelson read the hearing—no one showed up for the hearing. The ZBA will call it <br /> again later on in the meeting. <br /> James and Barbara DeVincent: Request a Special Permit from Section 174-2419 of <br /> the Zoning By-laws to do a dock replacement and expansion and repair a wooden pier on <br /> property located in an R-3 zoning district at 122 Old Brickyard Road (Map 72 Parcel 16) <br /> Mashpee, MA. <br /> Sitting: Marshall Brem, Robert Nelson, Richard Guerrera and James Regan will sit as a <br /> municipal employee. <br /> John Slavinsky of Cape & Islands Engineering represents the applicant. They are seeking <br /> a special permit to rebuild and expand a pier. Mr. Brem visited the property and found it <br /> to be a pristine house and location. This will be an improvement to the existing pier, <br /> ramp and float. Conservation has approved the job. This is a seasonal dock. The Board <br /> reviews the plans with Mr. Slavinsky. Mr. Brem moves to grant the Special Permit. <br /> Richard Guerrera seconds the motion. All agree. So moved. <br /> Paul O'Connell, III: Requests a Special Permit from Section 174-25-I.9 of the zoning <br /> bylaws in order to construct and maintain a wooden pier and aluminum ramp on property <br />
