Meltzer Trust, Map 64 Parcel 24 and 25 <br />Sunset Circle Realty Trust V - 03-04 <br />A Petition was filed on December 3, 2002 for a Variance under Sections 174-31 <br />and 174-33 of the Zoning By-laws for permission to vary the required front yard setbacks <br />and to seek relief from the required distance to the wetlands order to construct an <br />addition, driveway expansion, deck expansion and install a new Title V septic system on <br />property located in an R-5 zoning district at 51 Sunset Circle (Map 64 Parcel 24 and 25) <br />Mashpee, MA. . <br />Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General <br />Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, a <br />newspaper of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on December 27, 2002 and <br />January 3, 2003, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br />A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on <br />Wednesday, January 8, 2003, at which time the following members of the Zoning Board <br />of Appeals were present and acting throughout: Robert Nelson, Edward Govom and <br />James Regan. <br />The Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals issues this Decision pursuant to the <br />provisions of Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 40A, Section 10 and the Town of <br />Mashpee Zoning By-laws. <br />John Slavinsky of Cape & Islands Engineering represents the petitioner. Petitioner <br />is seeking relief from the current zoning requirements on their front yard and distance to <br />the wetlands. Lot coverage will be 15.9% and a new Title V septic system will be <br />installed. The Board moves to grant a 21.8 foot Variance in the front yard and a 15 foot <br />Variance to the wetlands. <br />
