Town of Alashpee <br /> MASHPEE ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS 16 Great Xeck koad Xorth <br /> Mashpee,Massachusetts 02649 <br /> Decision for a Special Permit <br /> RE: Michael Intoccia 134 Popponesset Island Road <br /> Map 112 Parcel 9 <br /> V-03-98 <br /> A Petition was filed on June 10, 2003 by Michael Intoccia for a Special Permit <br /> from Section 174-25.I.9 of the Zoning By-laws in order to modify an existing pier and <br /> float and construct a walkway connecting the yard directly with the pier on property <br /> located in an R-3 zoning district at 134 Popponesset Island Road (Map 112 Parcel 8) <br /> Mashpee, MA. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General <br /> Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, <br /> a newspaper of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on June 13, 2003 and June <br /> 20, 2003, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on <br /> • Wednesday, June 25, 2003, at which time the following members of the Zoning Board of <br /> Appeals were present and acting throughout: Edward Govoni, Robert Nelson and <br /> Marshall Brem. <br /> The Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals issues this Decision pursuant to the <br /> provisions of Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 40A Section 9 and the Town of <br /> Mashpee Zoning By-laws. <br /> Arlene Wilson from AM Wilson Associates represents the petitioner. They are <br /> seeking a Special Permit for a pier, ramp and float to build an elevated walkway to the <br /> existing pier and change the float position to pull the berthing space six feet closer to the <br /> shore. The float will be 6x32 square feet and will be 90 degrees parallel to the shore. <br /> The Board moves to grant the Special Permit. <br />
