Meetinghouse Hill Plan Review
Page five
Mashpee in case of default by the owner. As an example, the Mashpee Planning
Board uses a number equal to 150% of the agreed upon construction cost.
Examples of a covenant document and the accepted forms of security can be
obtained from the Town of Mashpee Planning Department. If the project is secured with
a covenant, reference to the covenant should be noted on the recorded plan.
It is recommended that a time limit for construction be set (two years is typical) if
the project is secured by a cash deposit or performance bond with the Town of
Mashpee. This time limit is adjustable along with the secured amount as construction
progresses.
Conclusion
The plan shows a residential subdivision that has been designed in general
conformance with the Mashpee Planning Board Rules and Regulations with some minor
adjustments.
Storm water designs include components that are generally accepted as part of
Best Management Practices in the Massachusetts Department of Environmental
Protection Storm Water Policy. Some adjustment could be done without compromising
the intent of the Policy.
I am available to meet with the Board of Appeals on Wednesday, July 30, 2003
and will prepared to answer any questions may have.
Very truly yours,
OF Mgssc P00 Ur E sc
9
CHARLES CHARLES
g L % LINCOLN mi
•, ROWLEY w v ROWLEY y
Charles L.
