Town of Mashpee <br /> 3 s <br /> N� �y 16 Great JVeck Pvoad Xorth <br /> MASHPEE ZONING BOARD OF APPEA Nhpe,, N,,achusetts 02649 <br /> Decision for a Variance <br /> RE: Stephen Kyros 34 Quaker Run Road <br /> Map 83 Parcel 21 <br /> V-03-131 <br /> A Petition was filed on September 9, 2003 by Stephen Kyros for a Variance from <br /> Section 174-31 of the Zoning By-laws for permission to vary the setback requirements in <br /> order to rebuild a 40' x 24' garage with storage on property located in an R-3 zoning <br /> district at 34 Quaker Run Road (Map 83 Parcel 21) Mashpee, MA. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General <br /> Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, a <br /> newspaper of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on September 12, 2003 and <br /> September 19, 2003, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on <br /> • Wednesday, September 24, 2003, at which time the following members of the Zoning <br /> Board of Appeals were present and acting throughout: Robert Nelson, Zella Elizenberry <br /> and Richard Guerrera. <br /> The Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals issues this Decision pursuant to the <br /> provisions of Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 40A, Section 10 and the Town of <br /> Mashpee Zoning By-laws. <br /> Mr. Kyros represents himself at this hearing. He is seeking a variance in order to <br /> build a 40' by 24' detached garage. He is seeking relief from the setback requirements in <br /> order to get this done. The Board reviews his plans and decides it would be best to have <br /> the smaller shed, which is one of 3 detached structures on the property, to be completely <br /> removed. They also request that the existing shed be moved up 2 feet. Mr. Kyros <br /> informs the Board that due to the placement of his septic system, his options are limited. <br /> The Board agrees to the following variances with certain conditions. Robert Nelson <br /> moves to grant the requested variances. Zella Elizenberry seconds the motion. The <br /> following variances were granted along with certain conditions: <br /> • <br />
