Town of Mashpee <br /> RIP 16 Great JVeck Pvoad Xorth <br /> Ap1E� <br /> MASHPEE ZONING BOARD OF APPEALashpee, Alassachuseus 02649 <br /> Decision for a Variance <br /> RE: Laurie Anne Langill 7 Edgewater Road <br /> Map 17 Parcel 6 <br /> V-03-140 <br /> A Petition was filed on October 2, 2003 by Laurie Langill for a Variance from <br /> Section 174-31 of the Zoning By-laws for permission to vary the front yard setback <br /> requirement in order to build a 32' x 6' farmers porch on property located in an R-3 <br /> zoning district at 7 Edgewater Road (Map 17 Block 6) Mashpee, MA. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General <br /> Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, a <br /> newspaper of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on October 10, 2003 and <br /> October 17, 2003, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on <br /> • Wednesday, October 22, 2003 at which time the following members of the Zoning Board <br /> of Appeals were present and acting throughout: Robert Nelson, Zella Elizenberry and <br /> Richard Guerrera. <br /> The Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals issues this Decision pursuant to the <br /> provisions of Massachusetts General Law, Chapter 40A, Section 10 and the Town of <br /> Mashpee Zoning By-laws. <br /> Laurie Langill, petitioner represents herself. She is seeking a variance in order to <br /> build a farmer's porch on the front of her house. Mr. Brem informs that Board of his site <br /> visit and feels this would be an improvement to the property. Zella Elizenberry moves to <br /> grant the 5.6-foot variance. Richard Guerrera seconds the motion. <br /> No comments were received from abutters. <br /> GENERAL FINDINGS <br /> 1. that the subject property is located at 7 Edgewater Road of 13,800 square feet. <br /> • <br />
