Talanian SP-02-38 29 Ockway Bay Road <br /> Map 100 Parcel 55 <br /> A Petition was filed on January 31, 2002 by Charles M. Talanian of Boston and <br /> Mashpee, Massachusetts for a Special Permit under Section 174-25.I.9 of the Zoning <br /> By-laws for permission to enlarge an existing pier, ramp and float on Ockway Bay on <br /> property located in an R-3 zoning district at 29 Ockway Bay Road (Map 100 Parcel 55) <br /> Mashpee, MA. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General <br /> Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The Cape Cod Times, a <br /> newspaper of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on February 11 and <br /> February 18, 2002, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on <br /> Wednesday, February 27, 2002, at which time the following members of the Zoning <br /> Board of Appeals were present and acting throughout: Richard T. Guerrera, Zella E. I, <br /> Elizenberry and Frederick R. Borgeson. Mr. Regan stepped down and left the room. II' <br /> The Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals issues this Decision pursuant to the <br /> provisions of Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 40A Section 9 and the Town of <br /> Mashpee Zoning By-laws. <br /> Mr. Tim Santos of Holmes & McGrath, Inc. represented the Petition and stated <br /> L. <br /> that the proposed construction calls for modification to the existing licensed ramp and <br /> float. No changes in the configuration of the existing pier are planned. The proposal <br /> includes replacing the existing 3 x14-foot ramp with a 4 x12-foot ramp and replacing the <br /> existing 8 x10-foot float with a 6 x22-foot float. A 3 x6-foot ell would be constructed to <br /> support the ramp. Total area of the proposed float is 150 square feet. <br /> The Conservation Commission and the Shellfish Constable have approved the <br /> proposal. <br /> No comments were received from abutters. <br />
