Emerson of Mashpee, l <br /> Massachusetts for a Special Permit under Sections 174-25.G.4 and 174-25.G.5 of the <br /> Zoning By-laws to construct a commercial building to allow for upholstery of canvas and <br /> manufacturing of metal cages on property located in an I-1 zoning district at 36 <br /> Nicoletta's Way (Map 20 Parcel 56) Mashpee, MA. j <br /> I <br /> I <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General <br /> Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, a <br /> newspaper of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on June 7, and June 14, 2002, <br /> a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on III <br /> Wednesday, June 26, 2002, at which time the following members of the Zoning Board of <br /> Appeals were present and acting throughout: James E. Regan III, Frederick R. Borgeson <br /> and Robert G. Nelson. <br /> i <br /> The Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals issues this Decision pursuant to the <br /> provisions of Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 40A Section 9 and the Town of <br /> Mashpee Zoning By-laws. <br /> i <br /> Mr. John Slavinsky of Cape & Islands Engineering represented the Petition along <br /> with Mr. Emerson, who also attended the meeting. Mr. Emerson is in the business of j <br /> marine canvas repair, boat frame and cushion construction. Plans call for construction of <br /> a commercial building on Nicoletta's Way to house his business. Mr. Emerson said that <br /> a portion of the building would be rented to a manufacturer of metal cages. <br /> The Technical Review and Design Review Committees have reviewed and i <br /> approved the proposed construction. <br /> No comments were received from abutters. <br /> GENERAL FINDINGS <br /> 1. that the subject property is located at 36 Nicoletta's Way and consists of <br /> 59,866 square feet of land in an Industrial 1 zoning district. <br /> i <br /> I <br /> i <br />
