Town of Mashpee r <br /> �y. 16 Great Xeck Avoad Xorth w <br /> °'E MASHPEE ZONING BOARD OF APPEA01ashPee, Massachusetts 02649 <br /> +FFlr^�r' <br /> Decision for a Special Permit ' k <br /> RE: Peter P. & Susan Govoni SP-00-112 113 James Circle <br /> Map 64 Block 60 <br /> A Petition was filed on March 21, 2000 by Peter P. & Susan Govoni of Littleton, <br /> Massachusetts for a Special Permit under Section 174-2519 of the Zoning By-laws for <br /> permission to construct a pier, ramp and float on John's Pond on property located in an <br /> R-5 zoning district at 113 James Circle (Map 64 Block 60)Mashpee, MA. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General <br /> Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, a <br /> newspaper of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on April 7 and April 14, 2000, <br /> a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> This Petition has been continued from the Public Hearings held on April 26 and <br /> June 28, 2000. At the Public Hearings on June 28, 2000,the Board voted unanimously to <br /> grant the request for a continuance of 180 days of the Petition. The Request for a j <br /> Continuance was filed with the Town Clerk on June 29, 2000. <br /> A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on <br /> Wednesday, September 13, 2000, at which time the following members of the Zoning <br /> Board of Appeals were present and acting throughout: James E. Regan III, Robert G. <br /> Nelson and Richard T. Guerrera. <br /> The Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals issues this Decision pursuant to the <br /> provisions of Massachusetts General Law, Chapter 40A, Section 9 and the Town of <br /> Mashpee Zoning By-laws. <br /> Mr. Edward M. Govoni represented the Petition and stated that it was continued <br /> because the Conservation Commission discovered an endangered species of dragonfly on <br /> the subject property. The Petitioner hired a biologist who has determined that lily pads <br /> shall be planted in the area next to the proposed dock. The Conservation Commission <br /> has approved the proposal. + <br /> No comments were received from abutters. <br /> I <br /> 1 <br />
