Mashpee Zoning Minutes—May 10, 2000 2 7 <br /> Board of Appeals <br /> a <br /> Dr. Keen said that he owns a 6-person charter boat and that he has never caused a traffic <br /> problem on Monomoscoy Island. He referred to the Petition that he submitted to they; <br /> Board that contained 111 signatures in support of his business. Dr.Keen said that an n, <br /> unfavorable decision would be a hardship for him and for his family. <br /> Mr. Regan said that he desires further information on the "grandfathering" issue. !qN,• <br /> Mr. Govoni moved to continue the hearing until June 28, 2000 to allow him an �.. <br /> opportunity to obtain Counsel concerning the "grandfathering" issue. Dr. Keen was <br /> instructed to provide documents establishing when he started his business on ' <br /> Monomoscoy Island. Mr. Regan seconded. All agreed. <br /> Mashpee Auto Brokers—Requests a Special Permit under Section 174-251.2 of the IA; <br /> Zoning By-laws to allow for sale of vehicles behind property located in a C-1 zoning <br /> district at 681 Falmouth Road(Map 83 Block 23-25AA)Mashpee, MA. Carboneau, et al, Trustees.) <br /> Continued from March 8, 2000 in order for Board to obtain state statute and for <br /> applicant to submit engineering plan showing 500' buffer from street. <br /> Sitting: Robert G.Nelson, Marshall A. Brem and Frederick R. Borgeson. <br /> Attorney Christopher Lebherz represented the applicant and submitted a copy of Chapter :'.ate <br /> 140-58 that only requires the dealer to have access to repair facilities. He said that the !t <br /> subject property is in a C-2 zoning district and that the proposed use is in conformance <br /> with the By-law. k <br /> u <br /> Ms. Katsoulis, an abutter at 661 Falmouth Road, said that on the application filed by Mr. ' <br /> Moore is a request to display six vehicles, not four. She questioned the application <br /> procedures for a Variance and a Special Permit from the ZBA. She expressed concern <br /> with parking space and flow of traffic and delivery trucks. <br /> Ms. Sally Vole, an abutter from Deer Crossing Condominiums, said that she has no <br /> objection to the proposed restaurant or used-car business. She criticized the Building ; <br /> Department and the Town Clerk's office for not providing her with information. <br /> „ r <br /> Mr. Govoni said that the Board secretary and the Town Clerk's office have the Zoning 'i: <br /> book.
