Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, a <br /> newspaper of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on June 23 and June 30, 2000, <br /> a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on III <br /> Wednesday, July 12, 2000, at which time the following members of the Zoning Board of <br /> Appeals were present and acting throughout: James E. Regan III,Robert G. Nelson and j <br /> Richard T. Guerrera. <br /> I, <br /> The Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals issues this Decision pursuant to the <br /> provisions of Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 40A, Section 9 and the Town of <br /> Mashpee Zoning By-laws. <br /> Messrs. George O'Brien and Mark O'Brien, Trustees of Gemarko Realty Trust, <br /> and Registered Engineer Bernard Young attended the meeting with Attorney James <br /> Veara. <br /> Attorney Veara represented the applicant and stated that theproposal conforms <br /> with the frontage, setback and 20% lot coverage requirements. The proposed 7,800 <br /> square-foot building would be divided into 1,500 square feet of retail space and 6,300 <br /> square feet of wholesale space.No manufacturing is to be done on the subject property. <br /> The left side of the property would be reserved for outside storage of materials. <br /> An extensive landscape plan with a chain-link fence and natural cover would shield this <br /> area. <br /> No comments were received from abutters. j <br /> GENERAL FINDINGS , <br /> 1. that the subject property is located at 11 Echo Road and consists of 54,014 square <br /> feet.
