Howes and George A. Saliba l <br /> #72&#74 Summersea Road <br /> Our Job Number 98538 <br /> --------------------------------------------------------------- <br /> Please find enclosed two copies of the Special Permit and Variance Applications L j <br /> along with the proposed plans for the above referenced project. The proposed project is the <br /> construction and maintenance of a common timber pier, ramp, float and pilings with a total <br /> length of 122 linear feet, a 4'wide access path, and mitigation plantings on Lots 101 & 100 <br /> at #72 and#74 Summersea Road in New Seabury. The proposed pier will be shared by the <br /> owners of Lots 101 and 102. The proposed pier consists of a 10'long hexagonal landing, a <br /> t <br /> 4'wide x 88'long timber pier with stairs and landings over the bank, a 3'x 12'ramp, a 8'x <br /> 16' float, 4 - 3" diameter pipe piles. Water and power services are also included in the <br /> proposed design as shown on the accompanying�gPlot Plan C. The proposed pier will <br /> provide private, shared, non-commercial access to the navigable waters of Ann's Cove in <br /> Ockway Bay. ! <br /> rl <br /> In addition to the filing of these Special Permit and Variance applications, the j <br /> proposed project requires an Order of Conditions from the Mashpee Conservation <br /> Commission, a Chapter 91 Waterways License, and authorization from the Army Corps of <br /> Engineers. A Notice of Intent has been filed with the Mashpee Conservation Commission. <br /> the public hearing before the Conservation Commission is scheduled for August 17, 2000. <br /> The proposed timber pier will be accessory to two private residential lots, each with <br /> over 13,600 square feet in area. The proposed common pier will be shared by the owners of <br /> Lots 102 and 101 at#72&#74 Summersea Road in New Seabury. The properties are <br /> situated in an R-3 Zoning District and an accessory pier is a permissible use within that <br /> District upon the granting of a Special Permit from the Board of Appeals. <br /> I' i <br />
