Piersiak SP-01-13 19 Wilson's Grove <br /> Map 118 Block 96 <br /> A Petition was filed on December 20, 2000 by Michael and Pamela M. Piersiak <br /> of Needham, Massachusetts for a Special Permit under Section 174-20 of the Zoning <br /> By-laws for permission to demolish an existing structure and construct a single-family <br /> home on property located in an R-3 zoning district at 19 Wilson's Grove(Map 118 <br /> Block 96)Mashpee, MA. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General <br /> Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, a <br /> newspaper of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on January 5 and January 12, <br /> 2001, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on <br /> Wednesday, January 24, 2001, at which time the following members of the Zoning Board <br /> of Appeals were present and acting throughout: Edward M. Govoni, Robert G.Nelson <br /> and Marshall A. Brem. <br /> i , <br /> The Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals issues this Decision pursuant to the <br /> provisions of Massachusetts General Law, Chapter 40A, Section 9 and the Town of <br /> Mashpee Zoning By-laws. <br /> Mr. John Slavinsky of Cape &Islands Engineering represented the Petition and <br /> stated that plans call for demolition of the existing dwelling and construction of a new <br /> single-family home on the subject property. Lot coverage would be reduced from 29.9% <br /> to 24.9% and the side setback encroachment would be reduced by four feet. <br /> Mr. Walsh, an abutter, questioned if the proposal would be closer to the street <br /> than the existing dwelling. After reviewing the plans,he indicated that he had no <br /> objection to the proposed construction. <br /> No other comments were received from abutters. <br />
