Crosby SP-01-19 2 Popponesset Island Road i <br /> Map 105 Block 267 <br /> A Petition was filed on January 18, 2001 by Betty M. Crosby of Mashpee, <br /> Massachusetts for a Special Permit under Section 174-25.I.9 of the Zoning By-laws <br /> for permission to construct a pier, ramp and float on Popponesset Bay on property <br /> located in an R-3 zoning district at 2 Popponesset Island Road(Map 105 Block 267) <br /> Mashpee, MA. Owner of record: Douglas R. Crosby, Trustee. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General <br /> Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, <br /> a newspaper of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on January 26 and <br /> February 2, 2001, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on <br /> ,I <br /> Wednesday, February 14, 2001, at which time the following members of the Zoning <br /> Board of Appeals were present and acting throughout: James E. Regan III,Richard T. <br /> Guerrera and Zella E. Elizenberry. <br /> The Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals issues this Decision pursuant to the <br /> provisions of Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 40A, Section 9 and the Town of <br /> I' <br /> Mashpee Zoning By-laws. <br /> ' Mr. John Johansen represented the Petitions and stated that the Petitioner received <br /> 't and <br /> a Special Perna <br /> ranted � <br /> a Chapter 91 license in 1993. The Zoning Board of Appealsg p <br /> p <br /> a Variance in 1993 to allow for construction of a pier,ramp and float on the subject <br /> Property. The Petitioner is requesting a Variance and a Special Permit to allow for <br /> construction of the pier, ramp and float. <br /> The Conservation Commission has approved the proposal. <br /> No comments were received from abutters. <br />
