Crosby of Mashpee, <br /> ii <br /> Massachusetts for a Variance from Section 174-25.I.9 of the Zoning By-laws to vary <br /> the dock length limit to allow for construction of a pier,ramp and float on Popponesset <br /> Bay on property located in an R-3 zoning district at 2 Popponesset Island Road(Map 105 <br /> Block 267)Mashpee, MA. Owner of record: Douglas R. Crosby, Trustee. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General <br /> Laws Chapter p 40A. Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, <br /> a newspaper of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on January 26 and February <br /> 2, 2001, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on <br /> Wednesday, February 14, 2001, at which time the following members of the Zoning <br /> Board of Appeals were present and acting throughout: James E. Regan III, Frederick R. <br /> Borgeson and Zella E. Elizenberry. <br /> The Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals issues this Decision pursuant to the jl <br /> provisions of Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 40A, Section 10 and the Town of <br /> Mashpee Zoning By-laws. <br /> Mr. John Johansen represented the Petitions and stated that the Petitioner received <br /> a Chapter 91 license in 1993. The Zoning Board of Appeals granted a Special Permit and <br /> a Variance in 1993 to allow for construction of a pier, ramp and float on the subject <br /> Property. The Petitioner is requesting a Variance from the dock length limit in order to <br /> reach the mean high water line and allow for construction of the proposal. <br /> The Conservation Commission has approved the proposal. <br /> !i <br /> No comments were received from abutters. <br /> i <br /> i <br />
