Mashpee Zoning Chapman, Cole& Gleason Funeral Home 3 <br /> Board of Appeals SP-01-29 <br /> of stormwater management and artificial recharge of precipitation is developed which is A <br /> designed to: prevent untreated discharges to wetlands and surface waters,preserve B <br /> hydrologic conditions that closely resemble pre-development conditions,reduce or <br /> prevent flooding by managing the peak discharges and volumes of runoff, minimize <br /> erosion and sedimentation, not result in significant degradation of groundwater, reduce <br /> suspended solids and other pollutants to improve water quality and provide increased <br /> protection of sensitive natural resources. l j <br /> GENERAL FINDINGS <br /> 1. that the subject lot is located at 68 and 74 Algonquin Avenue and consists of <br /> over 2 acres of land. <br /> III., <br /> SPECIFIC FINDINGS F <br /> The Board determined that the use: <br /> 1. is in harmony with the purpose and intent of this chapter and will promote the <br /> purposes of the Groundwater Protection n Dis <br /> trict. <br /> 2. is appropriate to natural topography, soils, and other characteristics of the site to <br /> i <br /> i <br /> be developed. <br /> 3. will not, during construction or thereafter,have an adverse environmental impact <br /> on the aquifer or recharge area. <br /> 4. will not adversely affect an existing or potential water supply <br /> I; <br /> In view of the foregoing,the Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals found that the <br /> Petitioner met the criteria necessary for the granting of a Special Permit. Upon motion II <br /> duly made and seconded,the Zoning Board of Appeals voted unanimously on March 14, <br /> 2001 to grant the Special Permit. The Special Permit is conditioned upon compliance <br /> with the following: <br /> 1. that the Petitioner shall post a$50,000 Landscape Bond. <br /> 2. that issuance of the occupancy permit shall be conditioned upon the Building <br /> Commissioner's approval of the final landscaping. <br /> 3. that the Petitioner has permission to erect a 30-square foot sign on the subject <br /> property, in accordance with submitted plan of sign as drawn by Amidon& <br /> Company, Inc.. <br /> 4. that the Petitioner has permission to install 75 parking spaces on the subject <br /> property.
