Owner <br /> of record: Paul Deruyter, Trustee. (I <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General <br /> Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, <br /> a newspaper of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on March 9 and March 16, <br /> 2001, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on <br /> Wednesday, March 28, 2001, at which time the following members of the Zoning <br /> Board of Appeals were present and acting throughout: James E. Regan III, Frederick <br /> R.Borgeson and Marshall A. Brem. <br /> j; <br /> The Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals issues this Decision pursuant to the <br /> provisions of Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 40A, Section 9 and the Town of <br /> Mashpee Zoning By-laws. <br /> Attorney Laura Moynihan of Ament and Ament represented the Petitioner and <br /> stated that Francisco Tavares, Inc. is a well-known company engaged in the landscaping <br /> contracting business in the Towns of Falmouth, Bourne and Mashpee. <br /> Plans call for development of a landscaping contracting business with <br /> construction in the front portion of the site of a 4000-square foot, one-story building. <br /> In addition to natural existing buffers, installation of a security fence and extensive <br /> i landscaping would fin-ther shield the abutting residential area from the proposed business i <br /> activities. <br /> Attorney Moynihan stated that the proposed use would be fairly low in intensity <br /> as it is designed for storage of lighter equipment. Employees would arrive early in the <br /> morning,pick up their materials and equipment and leave the site for the day. The <br /> Falmouth site would house all larger types of equipment. <br />
