Bowes SP-01-52 9 Bosun's Lane <br /> Map 111 Block 84 <br /> n <br /> A Petition was filed on May 29, 2001 by Robert J. Bowes of Mashpee, <br /> Massachusetts for a Special Permit under Section 174-17 of the Zoning By-laws <br /> for permission to expand a pre-existing,non-conforming dwelling with an addition <br /> on property located in an R-3 zoning district at 9 Bosun's Lane (Map 111 Block 84) <br /> Mashpee, MA. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General <br /> ! <br /> Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, <br /> a newspaper of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on April 20 and <br /> i <br /> April 27, 2001, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> {l <br /> A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on <br /> Wednesday,May 9, 2001, at which time the following members of the Zoning Board <br /> of Appeals were present and acting throughout: Edward M. Govoni, James E.Regan III <br /> and Robert G.Nelson. <br /> The Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals issues this Decision pursuant to the <br /> provisions of Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 40A Section 9 and the Town of <br /> i <br /> Mashpee Zoning By-laws. <br /> i <br /> Mr. Peter Maglione represented the Petition and stated that he plans to build the <br /> ! <br /> addition for the Petitioner. Mr. Maglione said that the Zoning Board of Appeals granted <br /> a Special Permit and a Variance to the Petitioner on the subject property in 1992 to allow <br /> for construction of an addition and a garage to the pre-existing,non-conforming dwelling. <br /> Only the garage has been constructed on the subject property. The Petitioner is now I <br /> requesting permission to construct the addition that was originally proposed and <br /> approved by the Board in 1992. The addition would connect the house to the garage. <br /> Mr. Maglione said that Zoning By-laws concerning lot coverage were adopted <br /> i <br /> after 1992 and that the dwelling is a pre-existing, non-conforming home. <br /> No comments were received from abutters. <br /> j ; <br />
