Reiffarth of Medway, Massachusetts for a Special Permit under Section 174-20 of the Zoning � I By-laws for permission to demolish an existing structure and construct a single-family home on property located in an R-3 zoning district at 422 Monomoscoy Road(Map 124 Block 48)Mashpee, MA. ,i Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General j Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, 'i a newspaper of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on April 20 and April 27, 2001, a copy of which is attached hereto and made aparthereof. A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on Wednesday, May 9, 2001, at which time the following members of the Zoning Board of Appeals were present and acting throughout: Edward M. Govoni, Robert G.Nelson and Marshall A. Brem. The Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals issues this Decision pursuant to the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 40A Section 9 and the Town of Mashpee Zoning By-laws. Mr. David Sanicki of Cape & Islands Engineering represented the Petition and submitted photos of the subject property. He stated that the existing dwelling would be demolished to allow for construction of a new home on the property. An updated septic —_ system has already been installed on the property. i Mr. and Mrs. Reiffarth also attended the meeting and stated that they have owned the property for 50 years. The Board of Health has approved the existing septic system and construction of a ii three-bedroom home on the subject property. The Conservation Commission has also approved the proposal. No comments were received from abutters.
