Rodrigues V-01-66 9 Southwind Circle&23 Balfour Lane <br /> Map 21 Blocks 55 & 83 <br /> A Petition was filed on May 10, 2001 by John W. Rodrigues of West Barnstable, <br /> Massachusetts for a Variance from Section 174-31 of the Zoning By-laws for permissions <br /> to combine lots and to vary the frontage requirements to allow for construction of a <br /> single-family home on properties located in an R-3 zoning district at 9 Southwind Circle <br /> and 23 Balfour Lane (Map 21 Blocks 55 and 83)Mashpee, MA. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General <br /> Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, a <br /> newspaper of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on May 25 and June 1, 2001, <br /> a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on <br /> Wednesday, June 13, 2001, at which time the following members of the Zoning <br /> Board of Appeals were present and acting throughout: Edward M. Govoni,Robert G. <br /> Nelson and Marshall A. Brem. <br /> The Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals issues this Decision pursuant to the <br /> provisions of Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 40A Section 10 and the Town of <br /> Mashpee Zoning By-laws. <br /> Mr. Rodrigues represented his Petition and said that he contacted the Planning <br /> Board and was told to request a Variance from the ZBA for permission to combine the <br /> subject lots and vary the frontage requirements. Mr. Rodrigues stated that he is trying to <br /> improve a subdivision on Southwind Circle and Balfour Lane that was left unfinished <br /> several years ago. Plans call for combination of the property located at Map 21 <br /> Y <br /> :N <br /> Block 47 with the property located at Map 21 Block 55 to make one buildable lot and <br /> construction of a single-family home that would face Balfour Lane. <br /> No comments were received from abutters. <br />
