Williams V-01-81 24 Coombs Lane <br /> Map 44 Parcel 117 <br /> A Petition was filed on July 3, 2001 by Vivian G. Williams of Mashpee, <br /> Massachusetts for a Variance from Sections 174-31 and 174-32 of the Zoning By-laws <br /> for permission to vary the lot size, lot frontage and fire protection access requirements to <br /> allow for construction of a single-family home on an unpaved road on property located in <br /> an R-3 zoning district at 24 Coombs Lane (Map 44 Parcel 117) Mashpee, MA. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General <br /> Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, <br /> a newspaper of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on July 6 and July 13, 2001, <br /> a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on <br /> Wednesday, July 25, 2001, at which time the following members of the Zoning Board <br /> of Appeals were present and acting throughout: Edward M. Govoni, James E. Regan III <br /> :i <br /> and Robert G. Nelson. <br /> The Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals issues this Decision pursuant to the <br /> provisions of Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 40A Section 10 and the Town of <br /> Mashpee Zoning By-laws. <br /> Because the Petitioner was unable to attend the Public Hearings, the Board voted <br /> unanimously to continue the Petition until August 8, 2001. <br /> ' At the continued hearings on August 8, 2001, Mrs. Williams represented her <br /> Petition and stated that the Variance granted by the Zoning Board of Appeals on the <br /> subject lot on October 28, 1998 has lapsed. At that time, the Board granted Variances <br /> r on the subject property and three other abutting lots, which allowed the Petitioner <br /> ,. <br /> permission to divide the four lots into three buildable lots. Mrs. Williams is seeking <br /> 1: <br /> relief from the By-laws in order to allow for sale of the subject lot. <br /> No comments were received from abutters. <br />
