Mashpee Zoning Minutes—October 10, 2001 4 <br /> Board of Appeals <br /> of the immediate neighbors. The neighbors have expressed approval with the proposed <br /> renovation of the home because it would be an improvement to the entire neighborhood. <br /> Mrs. Owens submitted photos of the existing home and stated that plans call for additions <br /> to the sides of the house. She said that the addition would consist of a bedroom and a <br /> bath. Mrs. Owens mentioned the close proximity to wetlands and the unusual shape of <br /> the lot. <br /> rem said that <br /> Mr. B he was satisfied if the neighbor most affected by the proposal was in <br /> favor of the proposal. <br /> The Board of Health and the Conservation Commission have approved the proposal. <br /> Mr. Regan moved to grant the following: <br /> • a Variance of 1 foot on the easterly side of the lot. <br /> • a Variance of 2 feet 6 inches on the westerly side of the lot. <br /> • a Variance of 8 feet on the southerly side of the lot facing Spoondrift Circle. <br /> Subject to criteria/findings 1, 2, 3, 4/1, 3, 4, trapezoid shape of the lot and its close j <br /> proximity to wetlands. Mr. Nelson seconded. All agreed. <br /> Mr. Regan moved to grant the Special Permit, subject to findings 1, (does not conform <br /> and the Board has granted a Variance) 2, 4, 5, 6, 7 and that the majority of the Bright <br /> Coves Association is part of the New Seabury Special Permit dating back to 1963, the <br /> subject lot was created prior to the Special Permit. Tiberio —Requests a Variance from Section 174-25.I.9 of the Zoning By- <br /> laws for permission to exceed the 70-foot total length limit to allow for construction of a <br /> pier,ramp and float on Ockway Bay on property located in an R-3 zoning district at 15 <br /> Ockway Bay Road (Map 99 Block 48) Mashpee, MA. <br /> Sitting: Edward M. Govoni a <br /> g , James E. Regan and Frederick R. Borgeson. Mr. Nelson <br /> stepped down and left the room <br /> Engineer Jack Landers-Cauley represented the Petitions and stated plans call for <br /> construction of a pier, ramp and float that would accommodate a dinghy-sized boat. <br /> The Conservation Commission has approved the proposal. <br /> No comments were received from abutters. <br /> Ii11 III <br /> Mr.Regan moved to grant a Variance of 42 feet.
