TOWN OF MASHPEE <br />• Zoning Board of Appeals <br />Minutes - Wednesday, November 14, 2001 <br />The Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals held Public Hearings on Wednesday, November <br />14, 2001, at 7:00 P.M. at the Mashpee Town Hall. Board Members present were Vice <br />Chairman James E. Regan III, Clerk Robert G. Nelson and Associate Members Richard <br />T. Guerrera, Zella E. Elizenberry and Marshall A. Brem. Chairman Edward M. Govoni <br />and Associate Member Frederick R. Borgeson were not present. <br />OTHER BUSINESS <br />Salrama, Inc. — Request for release of Landscape and Performance Security. <br />Mr. Regan suggested that the Board should conduct an onsite visit before releasing the <br />Landscape and Performance security. <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS <br />Botello Home Center — Requests a Special Permit under Section 174-51 of the Zoning <br />By-laws to exceed the allowed size limit to allow for installation of signage on property <br />located in an C-2 industrial zone at 6 Bowdoin Road (Map 54 Parcel 48) Mashpee, MA. <br />Sitting: James E. Regan III, Robert G. Nelson and Zella E. Elizenberry. <br />• Mr. Paul R. Botello represented the Petition and stated that the sign would be installed <br />on the silo. Mr. Botello stated that the sign is intended to direct customers to the <br />lumberyard. The Board questioned if the Petitioner needs Design Review Committee <br />review and approval. <br />No comments were received from abutters. <br />Mr. Nelson moved to grant the Special Permit to allow for installation of the signage on <br />the subject property. The Special Permit is conditioned upon Design Review approval of <br />the proposal. Ms. Elizenberry seconded. All agreed. <br />CONTINUED PETITIONS FROM OCTOBER 10. 2001 PUBLIC HEARINGS <br />Paul D. & Theresa Kelly — Request a Variance from the lot size requirements as required <br />in Section 174-31 of the Zoning By-laws and that the Board determine that the property <br />located in an R-5 zoning district at 82 Sunset Circle (Map 64 Parcel 15) Mashpee, MA. is <br />a separate and buildable lot. <br />is <br />
