Damon SP-99-5 89 Whippoorwill Circle <br /> Map 125 Block 153 <br /> A Petition was filed on November 19, 1998 by David W. and Diana L. Damon for <br /> a Special Permit under Section 174-2519 of the Zoning By-laws for the construction of a <br /> pier, ramp and float on Great River on property located in an R-2 zoning district at 89 <br /> Whippoorwill Circle (Map 125 Block 153),Mashpee, MA. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General <br /> Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, a <br /> newspaper of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on December 22 and <br /> December 29, 1998, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof <br /> A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on <br /> Wednesday, January 13, 1999, at 7:30 P.M., at which time the following members of the <br /> Board of Appeals were present and acting throughout: Edward M. Govoni, James E. <br /> Regan M and Robert G. Nelson. <br /> ThisPecision is issued by the Mashpee Board of Appeals pursuant to the <br /> provisions of Massachusetts General Law, Chapter 40A, Section 9 and the Town of <br /> Mashpee Zoning By-laws. <br /> Mr. John Slavinsky of Cape& Islands Engineering represented the applicant and <br /> stated that the Conservation Commission has reviewed the plans. The Harbormaster and <br /> Shellfish Constable requested a reduction in the float size to 6 x 16. On November 23, <br /> 1998,the Board of Appeals received from Cape& Islands Engineering revised plans <br /> showing reduction of the float size. <br /> No comments were received ftom abutters. <br />
