Town of Mashpee <br />16 Great Neck Ppad Xorth <br />Mashpee, Massachusetts 02649 <br />MASHPEE ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS <br />Decision for a Special Permit <br />RE: Gilbert Wood SP -99-47 <br />Mariner Lane <br />Map 125 Block 254 <br />A Petition was filed on May 12, 1999 by Gilbert Wood of Brewster, <br />Massachusetts for a Special Permit under Section 174-25.I.9 of the Zoning By-laws <br />for permission to construct a pier, ramp and float in Great River on.property located <br />in an R-3 zoning district at Mariner Lane (Map 125 Block 254) Mashpee, MA. <br />(Owner of record: Lisa E. Davis, TR., SMT Realty Trust). <br />Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General <br />Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, a <br />newspaper of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on June 4 and June 11, 1999, <br />a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br />A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on <br />Wednesday, June 23, 1999 at which time the following members of the Zoning Board of <br />Appeals were present and acting throughout: Edward M. Govoni, James E. Regan III and <br />Robert G. Nelson. <br />This Decision is issued, after being continued from June 23, July 14, August 11 <br />and September 22, 1999, by the Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals pursuant to the <br />provisions of Massachusetts General Law, Chapter 40A, Section 9 and the Town of <br />Mashpee Zoning By-laws. <br />At the continued hearing on October 13, 1999, Mr. Jack Landers-Cauley <br />represented the applicant. He stated that this plan is the third revision and reflects the <br />requirement by the Harbormaster and the Shellfish Constable to make a reduction in the <br />dock length. The Conservation Commission, Harbormaster and Shellfish Constable have <br />all approved this proposal. <br />No comments were received from abutters. <br />
