Mashpee Zoning Boch Center for the Performing Arts 2 <br /> Board of Appeals V-99-67 <br /> FINDINGS <br /> General Findings <br /> 1. the subject property is located at 68 Great Neck Road South and consists of <br /> 4.93 acres of land. <br /> Variance Criteria <br /> Section 174-5 LB of the Zoning By-laws reads: "All signs over six (6) square feet <br /> shall require review and comment by the Design Review Committee prior to the issuance <br /> of a permit for said sign by the Building Inspector. All signs exceeding twenty(20) <br /> square feet require a special permit from the Board of Appeals, in accordance with <br /> Article VP'. <br /> In view of the foregoing,the Mashpee Board of Appeals found that the applicant <br /> met the criteria necessary for the granting of a Variance. Upon motion duly made and <br /> seconded,the Board of Appeals voted unanimously on September 8, 1999 to grant a <br /> Variance to allow the applicant to erect temporary signage over 20 square feet. The <br /> permit is conditioned upon the following: <br /> 1. the V-shaped sign will be 32 square feet on each side <br /> 2. the signage will be allowed to remain for a maximum of two years. <br />
