Mashpee Zoning Minutes—October 13, 1999 9 f <br /> Board of Appeals <br /> Mr. John S lavinsky of Cape & Islands Engineering represented the applicant and stated that the <br /> existing structure will be demolished and replaced with a new dwelling. The proposed lot <br /> coverage will be 11%. Mr. Slavinsky stated that the Board of Health is requiring the installation <br /> of a new septic system and the Conservation Commission is requiring the installation of a `" <br /> denitrif cation system. The Variance relief being sought is for 21 feet from the wetlands. Mr. k <br /> ti�N�t <br /> Hauck and Mr. Govoni confirmed that the area predates zoning and does not need a Variance <br /> from the front and sideline setback requirements. <br /> Mr. and Mrs. Brady,who are not abutters, attended the meeting, Mr. Brady informed the Board " <br /> that Mr. Lans, an abutter at 246 Monomoscoy Road, had died recently. Brady Mr. Brad claimed that ' <br /> Mr. Lans had some concerns about the proposal. <br /> Mr. Brady questioned if the lot coverage includes the decks. He stated that one of the decks and <br /> the circular driveway obstruct neighbors' waterviews and requested that they be deleted from <br /> the proposal. <br /> Mrs. laimed to have spoken with Mr. Lans who was concerned a �r <br /> BradyY p bout the proposed <br /> driveway going through the backyard that would be detrimental to his view. Mrs. Brady also <br /> said that Mr. Lans said that the deck on the first floor closest to the water will infringe on his <br /> view of the water. <br /> Mr. Slavins said that the deck in question has been removed at the request of the <br /> �' q q .� <br /> Conservation Commission. He stated that the Zoning Board does not have jurisdiction over the <br /> proposed driveway. t . <br /> Y <br /> Mr. Reiffarth questioned if a driveway can be put on a lot line. Mr. Govoni stated that it is <br /> permitted. 1i�, <br /> y <br /> dw <br /> Mr. Jim Hanks, Secretary of the Monomoscoy Trust, also attended the meeting, <br /> Mr. Slavinsky stated that the proposal conforms to all the zoning requirements except for the <br /> setback from the wetlands. <br /> Mr. Hanks, Mr. Reiffarth, Mr. and Mrs. ooked at the plans.
