Clarke All TRS. - SP-98-1 50 Popponesset Island Road <br /> Map 106, Block 24 <br /> A Petition was filed on November 26, 1997 by L. Clarke Hill of Wentworth, New <br /> Hampshire for a Special Permit under Sections 174-17, 174-20 and 174-33 of the Zoning <br /> By-laws for permission to demolish an existing non-conforming residential dwelling and <br /> replace it with a new single family home on property located in an R-3 zoning district at <br /> 50 Popponesset Island Road (Map 106, Block 24)Mashpee, MA. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws <br /> Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, a newspaper <br /> of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on December 26, 1997 and January 2, <br /> 1998, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on <br /> Wednesday, January 14, 1998, at which time the following members of the Board of <br /> Appeals were present and acting throughout: Edward M. Govoni, Cheryl A. Hawver and <br /> Michael A. Makunas. <br /> This Decision is issued by the Mashpee Board of Appeals pursuant to the <br /> provisions of Massachusetts General Law, Chapter 40A, Section 6 and the Town of <br /> Mashpee Zoning By-laws. <br /> Engineer John Slavinsky represented the applicant and informed the Board that the <br /> lot is non-conforming and that the proposed house will meet all of the setback <br /> requirements and has been reviewed by Conservation. No comments were received from <br /> abutters. <br />
