Town of Mashpee <br /> s <br /> 16 Great JVeck goad JVorth <br /> BOARD OF APPEALS Mashpee, Massachusetts 02649 <br /> Decision for a Special Permit <br /> RE: Half Tide Marina, Inc. - SP-98-12 103 Industrial Drive <br /> Map 88, Block 28 <br /> A Petition was filed on December 23, 1998 by Half Tide Marina Inc. of Mashpee, <br /> Massachusetts for a Special Permit under Section 174-25.G.9 of the Zoning By-laws for <br /> open lot storage of boats in an I-1 zoning district on property located at 103 Industrial <br /> Drive (Map 88,Block 28) Mashpee, MA. (Owner of record: Mashpee Industrial Park <br /> Realty Trust, Paul DeRuyter, Trustee). <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws <br /> Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, a newspaper <br /> of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on January 23 and January 30, 1998, a <br /> copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on <br /> Wednesday, February 11, 1998 at 7:30 P.M. at which time the following members of the <br /> Board of Appeals were present and acting throughout: Edward M. Govoni, James E. <br /> Regan III and Cheryl A. Hawver. <br /> This Decision is issued by the Mashpee Board of Appeals pursuant to the <br /> provisions of Massachusetts General Law, Chapter 40A, Section 9 and the Town of <br /> Mashpee Zoning By-laws. <br /> Robert Scozzari, President of Half-Tide Marina, Inc. represented the Petition and <br /> informed the Board that he had received a Special Permit for boat storage on another lot <br /> in the Mashpee Industrial Park but the owner of the Park had opposed the location. He <br /> stated that there is now an agreement to change lots and that the proposed location at 103 <br /> Industrial Drive would be removed from the agreement of the Mashpee Industrial Park <br /> and the Cape Cod Commission. Correspondence was presented from the Cape Cod <br /> Commission confirming the transfer. The Board was informed that boat storage will be <br /> confined to boats built after 1986. The proposed plans include a 75 foot buffer between <br /> the residential and commercial zones. <br />
