Town ofNashpee <br /> 16 Great Neck �koad Xorth <br /> Mashpee, Massachusetts 02649 <br /> BOARD OF APPEALS <br /> Decision for a Variance <br /> RE: Bert E. and Margaret McConnell - V-98-69 7 Harbor Ridge Drive <br /> Map 104 Block 122 <br /> A Petition was filed on March 27, 1998 by Bert E. and Margaret McConnell of <br /> Arlington, Massachusetts for a Variance ftom Section 174-25.1.9 of the Zoning By-laws <br /> for permission to exceed the 70 foot pier length limit to allow for a I 10 foot pier, float and <br /> walkway on property located in an R-3 zoning district at 7 Harbor Ridge Drive (Map 104, <br /> Block 122)Mashpee, MA. <br /> Notice was duty given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws <br /> Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, a newspaper <br /> of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on April 24 and May 1, 1998, a copy of <br /> which is attached hereto and made a part hereof <br /> A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on <br /> Wednesday, May 13, 1998, at which time the following members of the Board of Appeals <br /> were present and acting throughout: Edward M. Govoni, James E. Regan III and Cheryl <br /> A. Hawver. <br /> This Decision is issued by the Mashpee Board of Appeals pursuant to the <br /> provisions of Massachusetts General Law, Chapter 40A, Section 10 and the Town of <br /> Mashpee Zoning By-laws. <br /> Engineer Norman Hayes represented the applicants and informed the Board that <br /> the location of the dock was approved by the Harbormaster, Shellfish Warden and the <br /> Conservation Commission and that the I 10 foot length is necessary to achieve adequate <br /> depth of water. No comments were received from abutters. <br />
