Town ofMashpee <br /> 16 Great Aeck Ppad 7orth <br /> Mashpee, Massachusetts 02649 <br /> BOARD OF APPEALS <br /> Decision for a Variance <br /> RE: Gregory and Mary Hunt -V-98-88 15 Harbor Ridge Drive <br /> Map 104 Block 120 <br /> A Petition was filed on May 27, 1998 by Gregory and Mary Hunt of Mashpee <br /> Massachusetts for a Variance from Section 174-2519 of the Zoning By-laws for <br /> permission to exceed the 70 foot pier length limit to allow for a 132 foot pier, ramp and <br /> float on property located in an R-3 zoning district at 15 Harbor Ridge Drive (Map 104, <br /> Block 120) Mashpee, MA. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws <br /> Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, a newspaper <br /> of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on July 3 and July 10, 1998, a copy of <br /> which is attached hereto and made a part hereof <br /> A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on <br /> Wednesday, July 22, 1998, at which time the following members of the Board of Appeals <br /> were present and acting throughout: James E. Regan HI, James M. Dorgan and Robert G. <br /> Nelson, <br /> This Decision is issued by the Mashpee Board of Appeals pursuant to the <br /> provisions of Massachusetts General Law, Chapter 40A, Section 10 and the Town of <br /> Mashpee Zoning By-laws. <br /> Engineer Norman Hayes represented the applicant and informed the Board that the <br /> location of the dock was approved by the Harbormaster, Shellfish Warden and the <br /> Conservation Commission and that the 132 foot length is necessary to achieve adequate <br /> depth of water. No comments were received from abutters. <br />
