Town ofNashpee <br /> 16 Great Xeck Ppad Vorth <br /> Mashpee, Massachusetts 02649 <br /> BOARD OF APPEALS <br /> Decision for a Variance <br /> RE: Ockway Bay Heights RT - V-98-92 19 Harbor Ridge Drive <br /> Map 104 Block 119 <br /> A Petition was filed on May 28, 1998 by Ockway Bay Heights Realty Trust of <br /> Newton, Massachusetts for a Variance under Section 174-25.1.9 of the Zoning By-Laws <br /> for permission to exceed the 70 foot pier length limit to allow for a 76 foot pier, ramp and <br /> float on property located in an R-3 zoning district at 19 Harbor Ridge Drive (Map 104 <br /> Block 119)Mashpee, MA. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws <br /> Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, a newspaper <br /> of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on July 3 and July 10, 1998, a copy of <br /> which is attached hereto and made a part hereof <br /> A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on <br /> Wednesday, July 22, 1998, at which time the following members of the Board of Appeals <br /> were present and acting throughout: James E. Regan HI, Richard T. Gueffera and Robert <br /> G. Nelson. <br /> This Decision is issued by the Mashpee Board of Appeals pursuant to the <br /> provisions of Massachusetts General Law, Chapter 40A, Section 10 and the Town of <br /> Mashpee Zoning By-laws. <br /> Engineer Norman Hayes represented the applicant and informed the Board that the <br /> Harbormaster, Shellfish Warden and the Conservation Commission have approved the <br /> location of the dock. The 76 foot length is necessary in order to achieve adequate depth <br /> of water. No comments were received from abutters. <br />
