Clarke Hill, Tr. - SP-98-94 50 Popponesset Island Road <br /> Map 106 Block 24 <br /> A Petition was filed on June 2, 1998 by L. Clarke MR, Trustee, of Hudson, <br /> Massachusetts for a Special Permit under Section 174-25.1.9 of the Zoning By-laws for <br /> the construction of a pier, ramp and float in Popponesset Bay on property located in an <br /> R-3 zoning district at 50 Popponesset Island Road (Map 106 Block 24)Mashpee, MA. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws <br /> Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, a newspaper <br /> of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on July 3 and July 10, 1998, a copy of <br /> which is attached hereto and made a part hereof <br /> A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hatt on <br /> Wednesday, July 22, 1998, at which time the following members of the Board of Appeals <br /> were present and acting throughout: James E. Regan III and Robert G. Nelson. <br /> This Decision is issued by the Mashpee Board of Appeals pursuant to the <br /> provisions of Massachusetts General Law, Chapter 40A, Section 9 and the Town of <br /> Mashpee Zoning By-laws. <br /> Engineer John Slavinsky represented the applicant and informed the Board that the <br /> location of the dock was approved by the Harbormaster, Shellfish Warden and the <br /> Conservation Commission. The applicant is staying under the 70 foot length limit. No <br /> comments were received from abutters. <br />
