Madsen- SP-98-97 60 Amy Brown Road <br /> Map 115 Block 17 <br /> A Petition was filed on June 8, 1998 by Philip and Christine F. Madsen of <br /> Mashpee, Massachusetts for a Special Permit under Section 174-25.1.9 of the Zoning By- <br /> laws for the construction of a walkway dock in Abigail's Brook on property located in an <br /> R-3 zoning district at 60 Amy Brown Road (Map 115 Block 17)Mashpee, MA. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws <br /> Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, a newspaper <br /> of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on July 3 and July 10, 1998, a copy of <br /> which is attached hereto and made a part hereof <br /> A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on <br /> Wednesday, July 22, 1998, at which time the following members of the Board of Appeals <br /> were present and acting throughout: James E. Regan IH, James M. Dorgan and Robert G. <br /> Nelson. <br /> This Decision is issued by the Mashpee Board of Appeals pursuant to the <br /> provisions of Massachusetts General Law, Chapter 40A, Section 9 and the Town of <br /> Mashpee Zoning By-laws. <br /> Philip and Christine F. Madsen represented themselves and informed the Board <br /> that the length of the proposed walkway dock does not conform with the 70 foot length <br /> limit and has been granted a Variance. The application is pending approval from the <br /> Conservation Commission, Shefifish Warden and Harbormaster. 'No comments were <br /> received from abutters. <br />
