Yanoff <br /> 18 Wheelhouse Lane, Map 120, Block 158 <br /> Dear Madam Clerk: <br /> In accordance with my priordiscussions with the Building Inspector with reference to <br /> the above Special Permit, I am writing to request on behalf of the property owners, Michael <br /> J. and Andrea L. Yanoff, a six (6) month extension of the special permit. <br /> The purpose for the extension is to allow the property owner to prepare and file a <br /> request for variance in accordance with the Variance Decision granted as Variance No. 96-5 <br /> regarding the same property. <br /> The Special Permit Decision was docketed with the Clerk on July 10, 1996, and <br /> accordingly will lapse on July 30, 1996. Accordingly, we would request that this request for <br /> extension be placed on the agenda of the Zoning Board of Appeals at the earliest available <br /> date. It is my further understanding from discussions with the Building Inspector that if <br /> extended by the Board, such extension will be deemed to date back to the date of the filing <br /> of this request. <br /> By way of background, the special permit was to allow for the construction of a <br /> boardwalk and dock in accordance with Section 174, §25-1-9 of the Zoning Bylaws. The <br /> variance (which has subsequently lapsed) provided for permission to exceed the 70' length <br /> limit for docks and boardwalks. Without the variance being in place, the property owner <br /> annot commence construction as originally proposed. Accordingly, the request for <br />
