O'Rourke V-98-114 34 Great River Road <br /> Map 120 Block 68 <br /> A Petition was filed on July 22, 1998 by Edmund C. and Rosemary E. O'Rourke <br /> of Mashpee, Massachusetts for a Variance from Section 174-25.1.9 of the Zoning By-laws <br /> for permission to exceed the 70 foot pier length limit to allow for an 120 foot pier, ramp <br /> and float on property located in an R-3 zoning district at 34 Great River Road (Map 120 <br /> Block 68)Mashpee, MA. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws <br /> Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, a newspaper <br /> of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on August 7 and August 14, 1998, a copy <br /> of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof <br /> A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on <br /> Wednesday, August 26, 1998, at 7:30 P.M. at which time the following members of the <br /> Board of Appeals were present and acting throughout: James E. Regan III, James M. <br /> Dorgan and Robert G. Nelson. <br /> This Decision is issued by the Mashpee Board of Appeals pursuant to the <br /> provisions of Massachusetts General Law, Chapter 40A, Section 10 and the Town of <br /> Mashpee Zoning By-laws. <br /> David Sanicki of Cape& Islands Engineering represented the applicants, informing <br /> the Board that the Harbormaster, Shellfish Warden, Waterways Commission and <br /> onservation Commission have 0 approved the proposal. He submitted revised plans <br /> hich had been requested by the Shellfish Warden and Harbormaster. The new proposal <br /> s for the pier, ramp and float to extend 82 feet from the high water mark, No comments <br /> ere received from abutters. <br />
