Town ofMashpee <br /> 16 Great Veck Poad dkorth <br /> Mashpee, Massachusetts 02649 <br /> BOARD OF APPEALS <br /> Decision for a Variance <br /> RE: Betty Crosby V-98-112 29 Wilson's Grove <br /> Map 118 Block 91 <br /> A Petition was filed on June 29, 1998 by Betty Crosby of Mashpee, Massachusetts <br /> for a Variance from Section 174-31 of the Zoning By-laws for permission to vary the front <br /> and side setback and lot coverage requirements on property located in an R-3 zoning <br /> district at 29 Wilson's Grove(Map 118 Block 9 1)Mashpee, AM. (Owner of record: <br /> Douglas R. Crosby, Tr.) <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws <br /> Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, a newspaper <br /> of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on August 7 and August 14, 1998, a copy <br /> of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof <br /> A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on <br /> Wednesday, August 26, 1998, at 7:30 P.M. at which time the following members of the <br /> Board of Appeals were present and acting throughout: James E. Regan Iff, James M. <br /> Dorgan and Robert G. Nelson. <br /> This Decision is issued by the Mashpee Board of Appeals pursuant to the <br /> provisions of Massachusetts General Law, Chapter 40A, Section 10 and the Town of <br /> Mashpee Zoning By-laws. <br /> David Sanicki of Cape& Islands Engineering represented the applicant stating that <br /> he proposed septic system has been approved by the Board of Health. He also indicated <br /> at the applicant's plan is to extend the house out to the location of the existing deck. He <br /> ated that the proposed lot coverage is 32.9%; and that the houses in the neighborhood <br /> e si ar lot coverage, <br /> Mr. Crosby, the applicant's brother-in-law, submitted a letter in support of the <br /> oject. No other comments were received from abutters. <br />
