Town qfMashpee <br /> 16 Great Aeck P%oad Aorth <br /> Mashpee, Massachusetts 02649 <br /> BOARD OF APPEALS <br /> Decision for a Variance <br /> RE: Edward F. & Stephanie Lanoue V-98-150 Amy Brown Road <br /> Map 115 Block 3 <br /> A Petition was filed on October 28, 1998 by Edward F. & Stephanie Lanoue of <br /> East Falmouth, Massachusetts for a Variance from Section 174-32 of the Zoning <br /> By-laws for permission to construct a single-family dwelling on an unpaved road on <br /> property located in an R-3 zoning district on Amy Brown Road (Map 115 Block 3), <br /> Mashpee, MA. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General <br /> Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, a <br /> newspaper of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on November 20 and <br /> November 27, 1998, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof <br /> A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on <br /> Wednesday, December 9, 1998, at 7:30 P.M. at which time the following members of the <br /> Board of Appeals were present and acting throughout: Edward M. Govoni, James E. <br /> Regan HI and Robert G. Nelson. <br /> This Decision is issued by the Mashpee Board of Appeals pursuant to the <br /> provisions of Massachusetts General Law, Chapter 40A, Section 10 and the Town of <br /> Mashpee Zoning By-laws. <br /> Ms. Barbara Frappier of Wm. M. Warwick& Associates represented the <br /> applicants. She stated that the subject lot is one of several lots fronting on the unpaved <br /> portion of Amy Brown Road. She confirmed that, even though this is an unpaved road, <br /> the Planning Board and Town Engineer approved the subdivision in 1992. <br /> No comments were received from abutters. <br />
