Town of Mashpee <br /> N 16 Great Seck P-oad JVorth <br /> BOARD OF APPEALS Mashpee, Massachusetts 02649 <br /> Decision for a Special Permit <br /> RE: Cynthia Ann Roach SP-97-02 64 Lake Avenue <br /> Map 30 Block 58 <br /> A Petition was filed on November 8, 1996 by Cynthia Ann Roach of Mashpee, <br /> Massachusetts for a Special Permit under Sections 174-17, 174-20, 174-31 and 174-32 to <br /> allow the replacement of a pre-existing non-conforming dwelling and shed with a new <br /> single family dwelling to be constructed on an unpaved road. The site is located in an R-5 <br /> zoning district at 64 Lake Avenue (Map 30, Block 58)Mashpee, Massachusetts. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws <br /> Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, a newspaper <br /> of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on December 20, 1996 and December 27, <br /> 1996, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Carol H. Jacobson Senior Center <br /> on Wednesday, January 8, 1997 at 7:30 P.M. at which time the following members of the <br /> Board of Appeals were present and acting throughout: Edward M. Govoni, Richard T. <br /> Guerrera and Michael A. Makunas. The hearing was continued to January 22, 1997. <br /> This Decision is issued by the Mashpee Board of Appeals pursuant to the <br /> provisions of Massachusetts General Law, Chapter 40A, Section 6 and Sections 174-17, <br /> 174-20, 174-31 and 174-32 of the Mashpee Zoning By-laws. <br /> Randy Swetish, Builder, represented the applicant, and presented plans for the <br /> replacement of an existing house on an unpaved road. The Board requested specific <br /> revised plans showing the exact location of the proposed house and the Deputy Fire Chief <br /> questioned the condition of the dirt road. The Hearing continued on January 22, 1997 <br /> when revised plans were presented and information was presented from the Fire <br /> Department. <br />
