Trust/ Susan Fort TRS. of <br /> Seattle, Washington for a Special Permit under Section 174-25.I.9 of the Zoning By-laws <br /> for the construction of a pier, ramp and float on property located in an R-3 zoning district <br /> at 78 Spoondrift Way(Map 112, Block 43)Mashpee, MA. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws <br /> Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, a newspaper <br /> of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on January 3, 1997 and January 10, 1997, <br /> a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Carol H. Jacobson Senior Center <br /> on Wednesday, January 22, 1997 at 7:30 P.M. at which time the following members of <br /> the Board of Appeals were present and acting throughout: Edward M. Govoni, James E. <br /> Regan III and Cheryl A. Hawver. <br /> This Decision is issued by the Mashpee Board of Appeals pursuant to the <br /> provisions of Massachusetts General Law, Chapter 40A, Section 9 and Section 174- <br /> 25.I.9 of the Mashpee Zoning By-laws. <br /> Engineer David Sanicki represented the applicant and reviewed plans for a <br /> proposed dock. He explained that much of the lot is saltmarsh and that the 102 foot <br /> length is required to protect the wetlands and to maintain two feet of water at low tide at <br /> the float location. No comments were received from abutters. <br />
